sr was ready to give them that work

The evolution of Floyd Sr. has been amazing to see, in regards to his son. He's used to try to play top dog and have Junior under his wing. He's come to realize, at least on the outside looking in, the stature that his son has achieved is immense and instead of being adversarial to his son, he's come to support him. It would have to be something to be a boxer all your life, get close to the mountaintop against SRL, then watch your son do what you wanted to do and take it farther than anyone's wildest dreams. Instead of being the star, he's a background singer. I think he's finally become comfortable with being a background singer, not everyone could be Michael, you are Jermaine, Tito or Marlon. Everyone serves a role, but only one can be the star.

absolutely not
thats a counter punchers dream.
pacquaio thinks he can and even once brought up the hatton fight as some sort of blueprint
hes in for a rude awakening
manny is gonna have to hurt floyd something serious sometime in the first three rounds or the fight is over

A left handed volume puncher, with just as fast or even faster hand speed, more power, that throws in 2-3-4 punch combinations from weird angles, and can close the distance quickly due to his fast foot speed, is NOT an orthodox counter puncher's dream breh:heh:

In general, a counter puncher's weakness is a volume puncher/swarmer/pressure fighter.

i feel you, but on the other side of things. even if manny doesn't land a ton of hard shots, judges LOVE activity. Just look at most fights today, most of the time the nikka that lands the most shots is gonna win. May gotta be ready to fight a good pace for 12 full rounds against the best fighter he has EVER faced by far.

Not to compare MAB, Marquez, and Morales to May, but PAC beat all three of them nikkas twice, IMO.

May aint never been in with a fighter that was anywhere close to a prime Morales, marquez or MAB (even tho Morales and MAB was little :flabbynsick:). When you spend all day training with the sheep, how can you expect to run with the wolves? :usure:

With all that being said, May wins 8-4 or 7-5 :yeshrug:

I'll be in Vegas for fight weekend. I'm picking Floyd to win but Ive been feeling like this fight will be judged a draw. That's why I'm putting down $200-$300 on a draw. When was the last time a fight with 2 big stars had a draw??
