Canelo asked for the catchweight, so it shouldn't be brought up as some way to diminish what Floyd did. That is facts. Canelo was a unified champion with 40+ fights under his belt as well, that is also facts. Sounds like a bunch of juelzing to me as to why Canelo got that ass beat.
Canelo lost because he was 22. Stop making it seem like he hasn’t VASTLY improved since then
Anyways, that loss was probably the best thing to happen to him. Taught him there was levels to it. Like Floyd, he stays in shape now, is disciplined and made the necessary adjustments to become and remain the face of boxing.
He asked for it cuz he thought Floyd wouldn’t take the fight at 154.

horrible excuse. He was the fresher stronger fighter supposedly. Fighting a aging Floyd. The media hyped him up to beat Floyd. But when Floyd wins like always it’s o the other guy just doesn’t have enough experience yet and “Floyd was supposed to win revisionist statements. Yet Floyd wouldn’t have been allowed that same excuse if he had lost to the older more experienced Oscar De La Hoya. Canelo was one of Floyd’s easiest fights. Canelo couldn’t even touch him . He don’t hold a candle to Mayweather.

The obsession with washed fighters is so odd. I can't think of any other sport where athletes who are this far gone still get this much attention. Imagine fans laying down mad money to see what Carmelo Anthony or Larry Fitzgerald were going to do in their next games.
