Watching 2 entities as ridiculously obnoxious as Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets collectively get the spins, pass out, and crack their skulls on the rim of the toilet bowl on the way to face-planting on the bathroom floor is gonna be one of the more satisfying storylines this NFL season :blessed:

Should have never entertained this shyt in the first place. You do this if it's damn near a guaranteed Super Bowl. I'm not seeing it with an aging Rodgers. Should just trade for Lamar.
Uhh why? The Jets haven't done or been chit for the overwhelming majority of our lifetimes besides a couple of years. They 100% should take the plunge cause even a playoff run is gonna mean success.

This isn't the Patriots. He's not going to a franchise that is trying to get back to a deep run... He's joining one that hasn't made the playoffs in now many years?

Umm. Why spend the money on an aging QB and give up compensation when you're not going to the SB? You can get a regular QB to make the playoffs.

When Tampa did it. It made sense. Rodgers isn't Brady.

Rodgers is as close to Brady as you can get. I understand that a lot of you think this is 1v1 but there are 11 guys on the field for each team. The pieces in NY are much better than in GB last year and they can make some noise in the playoffs.

The Jets are not in SB or bust territory brah. They haven't even made the playoffs in God knows how long.

:whoa: if the Jets don't at least appear in a Superbowl with Aaron Rodgers, the fanbase will consider it a failure, especially since all that's left waiting for them after Rodgers is gone is either more Zach Wilson or some other project QB.

Which makes it retarded to go all out for Rodgers. :wtf: Jets are better off getting Lamar Jackson. A younger talented QB that they can have long term who would get them to the SB.

If I'm getting a year or two MAX for a first rounder (and more.. more than likely conditional picks) in Rodgers.. or a QB for the next decade for 2 firsts and a new contract (Lamar) .. then how is this even a question?

Get Lamar, and let him show out with the weapons that we've got.

I mean it's a no brainer but the Jets like to shoot themselves in the foot.:yeshrug:

shyt would be bananas to see Lamar Jackson with the Jets offensive weapons which is light years better than Baltimore's. Jets already have a tough defense. Man they need to stop playing.
