Why are we discounting Thug Life?

Why we acting like that wasnt a dope fukking album top to bottom?

Why are we acting like it isnt one of the GOAT "side crew" projects ever?

Nah I think MATW and AEOM are better. More focused pieces of work and have less weak tracks.

7DT starts on fire but then the latter half has a track or two that aren't all there (Just Like Daddy and Hold Ya Head come to mind). That might have to do with the level of Pac's creative input given where he was at different stages of his album releases.

makaveli sounds unfinished to me.

AEOM is so much more polished and offers so much more variety. you get fun pac, gangsta pac, emotional pac, sensitive pac... all over these amazing beats.

A lot of good ones here that I can agree with but I would add Public Enemy Nations to Apocalypse Strikes Black and Biz's 1st 3 also

There might be something to be said about AEOM's cohesiveness but given that it gave us excellence track after track across TWO discs is impressive enough. Has some of his most comprehensive work and showed Pac at his most versatile imo. Everything prior was either socio-political, conscious or introspective music but on AEOM he showcased it all. MATW, not much to be said there. His best work from start to finish. I don't think it was his peak work in terms of track quality but easily most consistent and had some standouts of course.

I mean you nailed it anyway. I'm just echoing you.

Makaveli definitely seemed a little rushed in terms of cohesion and they could have done without a track or two. But it's a great album.

College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation (Just because people hate on Kanyedashian doesn't mean these should be overlooked)

If Biggie wasn't murked he would have, he already had the best consecutive 1-2 in history

AmeriKKKa's Most and Death Certificate > any Pac album

nobody is talking about comparing sales, that's not relevant to who released a better 3 album sequence

It was just a mere concept for Ice Cube.It wasn't bone marrow deep with Cube.

Khalid called him out

But I think he was something like a Pac stan, tho

1:07....Khalid gets it:wow:

When you heard Pac, you heard that pure uncut.

And I say that as a huge Cube fan. From '91-'96 I thought he was the GOAT.I loved Cube so much, my son's 8, and he's a Cube stan.I don't know how it happened because I don't even bump rap around him.I just created a Cube stan gene, I suppose.

But he can't hit you with the whole 360 as potent as Pac could.Great Rapper, but Pac is on some other shyt.
