Where can we read the full opinion because it looks like they were being slick with some of it. The medicare part they agreed with the states legal arguments (about they can stop they expansion and not get kicked out) and they said the mandate is only doable as a tax not under the commerce clause as a penalty and then said but you can't compel them if not in it already in it? That don't make any sense and the news presented it a bunch of different ways, I had to piece together that stuff by watching like four different channels. Where that link at brehs?

Fox is spinning this as an L for Obama if states can opt out. Kinda agree.


They even called it the Job Killing law:laff:

I love Obama but how u going force people to get health insurance my job wanna take 40 out every check now if it was cheap like my dental and vision plan I pay 10 bucks each I'm all for it


So my question will this make my insurance cheaper at my job or more expensive

You're forced to pay for health care regardless when someone with no insurance walks into a hospital and your taxes cover the costs.

In the short term (which is really what matters to most of us)- MORE expensive

In the long term - less expensive.

It doesn't take effect until 2014, though.
