I feel like Jesus just died for the third time when I heard this passed.

This guy is actually blaming John Roberts' decision on some "epilepsy medication" he's taking that is causing him to be "cognitively impaired". :laff:

Savage is a little hard to listent to because he's so full of himself, but this is so ridiculous it's entertaining.

Everybody listen to 29:43 until the end. :laff: :laff: :laff: :laff: :laff: :dead:

Michael Weiner been almost Pastor Manning status the past few years. He's been saying Obama's gonna suspend elections and become a dictator if he gets re-elected the past few weeks, lol. To be fair, a few idiots on the left were saying that about Bush...no one with a radio show that got millions of viewers though.

This is one of the funniest Weiner clips ever.

Does anyone know what the proposed tax/penalty will be for those who elect not to get healthcare?

I know a woman that since very early in her life created a health care fund for herself and her children. It has several thousand in it by now but since she's fairly healthy she just pays out of pocket when she has to go to the doctors and that has worked for her. I'm thinking that's they way I will go...eventually and just pay the tax/penalty.

You can do an HSA/HDHP if you don't frequent the doctors like that and the funds in the account are deferred of taxes and tax exempt on qualified medical expenses. But the PAHCA might have changed up some of the specifics to the HSAs, I forgot been a while since I read the bill.

From what I've read/seen/heard the penalty will break down like this:

2014 $95 penalty or 1% of your income (whichever is greater) per adult per household

2015 $325 penalty or 2% of your income (whichever is greater) per adult per household

2016 $695 or 2.5% of your income (whichever is greater) per adult per household

For uninsured children, the penalty will be half of what it is for adults.

After 2016 the penalty will increase annually according to inflation.

An exemption is available for those whose premiums are equal to at least 8% of their income.

I actually listened to this last night, not because I want to lol. I do billing work for my girlfriends fathers boss on the side. But he's a stone cold conservative but listening to this I can't remember the last time I was so disgusted and shocked by what Savage was saying. We laugh about it but it's scary to think a lot of people in this country eat that stuff up. And after listening I am 100% convinced it's only a matter of time before things get violent. Incidents like Gabrielle Giffords shooting in 2011 start becoming more frequent instead of the extreme. And you know what's sad is people eat this up but he doesn't say anything based on facts or numbers. Everything he says are broad statements and ad hominem attacks.

I'll be absolutely honest: I know very little about this subject.

That said, I would love some insight or an explanation on this.

At face value, it seems to be another tax on the working poor...and another handout for insurance companies.

I would love to be misinformed or wrong about this, and would appreciate any and all clarification. Thanks in advance.

Chances are the folks who are on welfare and do not work will not buy insurance. Does this mean the penalties will take away some of the free tax money these freeloaders get every year?

The hood gonna be mad if that is the case?
