I never understand when people on here have like 3 cars :wtf:

Must be a culture thing, Londoners could live their whole lives without cars tbh, most people get one, but it's not really be necessary IMO.

That being said, most people do own cars, gotta "ball", innit bruv?

I read all your posts in Martin's accent (from EastEnders)....

I have places that I want to visit, but primarily because I have family or friends there... I'd prefer visiting another country and being escorted by a local... Just makes sense...

I have a huge jones for the UK as a result of watching Doc Martin (Cornwall), Waiting For God (Bournemouth), Keeping Up Appearances, Chef (London & Countryside) & The Book Group (Scotland).... Funny thing is I know that TV shows are not at all representative of actual scenery ...

I speak French (well enough for French people to understand me), but I don't want to go to France...

Definitely want to go to Berlin, Norway/Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, etc., too...

I have lived all over the U.S. and there's definitely more than enough breathtaking scenery and fun destinations...

I love Disneyworld (it seems corny, but it's fun), and I also want to hit up wine country and Carmel, California....

Out here in my damn drawls
Globalization is about to make it unless and unnecessarily expensive to travel anywhere outside the US. If your country has a McDonald's or sell Coke products anywhere in it's vicinity, I ain't comin' :birdman:

this is incredible. most people from other continents travel yet for some reason American's feel the world begins and ends in America. today I was asked whats a better place to visit... England or London. smh.

what makes it worst for a nation that doesn't travel, they have the most opinions on other countries.

:deadmanny:

:snoop: who told you this shyt? yes you do need a passport to travel throughout Europe.

this is the ignorance im talking about that is created when you never leave the country you're born in

Not if you're in the Schengen Zone, which is the case for most of the EU.

Americans must be shocked at the prices when they hit a European city.

I'm going Orlando in September and I'm at the stage where I think a 10 dollar long drink in disney is reasonable and a 6 dollar beer is cheap, Americans must get to amsterdam/Paris/Barcelona and see a 8 to 10 euro beer like :sadcam:, london isn't so bad (if you're smart), but I found the prices in Paris kinda ridiculous, 18 euros for a glass of wine and a pint in a normal pub, really?

Fair enough, I was in the tourist rip off zone, but I e never even seen a pub in soho with that kinda mark up, maybe an exclusive club, but not a shythole pub.

Yeah, happy hour had just finished and I was in the tourist trap (Norte dame cathedral area), I knew it was a rip, but in general the euro zones are still dearer than the pound, Even Dublin is crazy nowadays.

Yeah you fukked up dude. I was in Paris and drank CHEAP AS fukk. I just ordered house Bordeaux wine everywhere. Its cheap as fukk and tastes excellent. When me and the wifey would eat out, 4 course dinners with wine would come out to around 50-60 euro. Even cheaper at cafes. House bordeaux at most places costs around 12-18 euro for a 750cl bottle.
