Over 4 years later, did GTA 4 live up to the hype?

it was a step down from san andreas and it was way too serious. they made a big mistake going backwards instead of forwards especially when they put out san andreas.

limited amount of safehouses, you couldn't buy new shyt...no car mods, clothing

i still play it, but that's cause i'm too lazy to sit closer to the TV so i can play San Andreas on the ps2.

i thought GTA 4 was very boring and them switching to the "realism" made it stiff and lackluster to me......oh and the driving was awful on that shyt, on the old GTA's u could whip a corner like it was nuthin, on GTA 4 u had to drive like u were playing forza or sum shyt smh

saints row 3 and red faction armageddon were cash grabs, they said fukk it on both those games, gta 4 was just too ambitious and no one cared that much
