Shouldn't they be able to vote for whoever they want? I doubt everyone who voted Trump is a prototype of the man himself? Doesn't make Brady or Beli racist or ignorant. Some people are republicans through and through, same with democrats.

I would imagine, and maybe naively believe, that they where friends and that's why they voted for trump. Either way Trump was one of the few to ride with Tom and Beli during Deflategate. I am sure that was not lost on them. :yeshrug:

Bro, shut up. @Brady-Carter you're not big on American politics so I will give you a pass. But dapping up shyt like that will only have us looking @ you like him. But Warren you're the most "blah blah blah" dude on every issue. You take a stand on nothing and say the most general nothingness. Who the fukk said they shouldn't vote for whoever they want? What kind of dumbass response is that? That's like someone thinking sex with 15 year olds is okay for 55 year old men and you going, "but isn't that their choice?" Some choices say a lot about your character. Donald Trump himself is not a Republican, and he beat the entire Republican establishment. He is neither a Republican or a Democrat, he is Donald Trump. This dude has been blatantly racist, sexist, etc., and your response is "but they just went with the Republican." Yeah, I know. But they're not fukking poor cats in the midwest. They are millionaires, and have liberty to abstain from voting for someone who has done that. I'm not even in the mood to discuss this shyt because I will end up cussing you out. Don't ever ask me a stupid ass question like that again. Every person of color in America has been sad for the past two days knowing this nikka has all branches of government and a bunch of people around him who hate black people and you say some fukk shyt like this?

Just say you don't know what the fukk you're talking about and move on.

Ok, let's keep this shyt out of this thread. @Warren is cool and I liked his post.

Don't @ me. I'm not in the mood for whatever your response was. I have relatives on college campuses in sports meetings right now and they're looking @ these head coaches like they're a$$holes. The same goes for the NFL. If you vote for a racist, you're saying that this type of behavior is okay. I don't know a single Pats fan from New England that is to the left or a POC that is not cool on Brady right now for that p*ssyfooting he was doing. Next time the coli is cooking him, I can't speak for @R.E.N. Spells Ren or @Broke Wave but I'm not defending him at all.

At the end of the day breh, like I said in another thread, I just watch the games. The Patriots are to me way more than Brady and Beli. It was Malcolm Butler that probably gave me the goat sports moment if my life. I yelled for like 15 minutes straight and lost my voice. I'll never forget that. Point is, I'll still watch the Patriots after Brady and Beli retire. Brady is a fantastic player and arguably the greatest ever QB, and Beli is arguably the greatest ever HC, but there are so many other players on the team. I only ever started liking them because of their on the field prowess.

That is to say, if they both started saying ****** or did some wild shyt yes, I could never watch the Patriots again. But 2 white men voting for Trump when 74% of all white male voters in America voted for Trump? Most of them don't even understand the implications. These are football players not scientists. It is what it is.

I never said I wouldn't watch the Pats. I was annoyed by guy hitting me with the "maybe they're just loyal Republicans line." Curt Schillng is an idiot but he believes in the racist and ignorant shyt that he says. You don't have to truly understand the implications to support the message on the surface. I don't think Brady or Beli hate Muslims or something, but they definitely are not bothered by the shyt Trump said about them and other groups and that's equally problematic.

Yep.

My problem with Bill is wrote that letter knowing full well the controversy it was going to string. Then got a nerve to say "keep it football" in a press conference.

Fair point. He was probably more pissed at the fact Donald trump mentioned the letter and read it out, it was probably meant to be a personal letter of support.

On the potential divide in the locker room: “Politics are (expletive) up from the get-go anyway. We’re teammates. I’m not mad at people. I love, I believe in people. There may be a bad thing, there may be a good thing, but I believe in people. What your religion is, what color you are, what you like to do in your spare time, none of that bothers me as long as you’re a nice human being when we’re together. “I have no — I don’t care. I just want to interact with every single person no matter what they believe in, what they do, I’m not against anyone or anything like that. I just kinda come to work and be around everybody. I promote growth in community. I’m not trying to divide or separate anybody, any types of people or anything like that. That’s not what I do.”

On his reaction to Donald Trump mentioning Bill Belichick and Tom Brady at a rally Monday: “I didn’t really have — I mean, I didn’t really think nothing of it. Everybody has their friends and whatever before, whatever it is. It’s just, if my friends were running, I’d root for them too.”
