I incorrectly used forced secularism. I meant state atheism, not forced secularism, so that was my fault on that aspect.
No problem.
Why is American slavery attributed to Christianity when there were Christian abolitionists who did what they had to do to eliminate it? Why is Martin Luther King Jr., a Christian pastor, conveniently ignored when it comes to civil rights? Just as you can grab a verse about "obey your slavemasters" to attribute slavery to Christianity, you can attribute equality for blacks to the "treat others as you would want to be treated" among other verses as a testament to slavery's elimination in Christian nations.
I wouldn't want to attribute slavery to Christianity. Like I said, slavery would have probably happened without it. But the Bible's support for a form of slavery was part of the justification used for slavery.
I also don't want to ignore Dr. King and other Christian abolitionists and civil rights activists. Parts of their faith are absolutely responsible for inspiring them to do what they did, but that doesn't change what's in the Bible itself.
In regards to the death tallies being attributed to the Crusades, the death dolls attributed to atheist marxists is just as extreme if not moreso. Mao Zedong's policies were ultimately responsible for around 60 million deaths of his own people. Stalin was responsible for around 20 million deaths. Pol Pot 3 million... and that is all in the span of a few decades.
Mao and Stalin have massive death tolls, it's true, but those people were killed for resisting the state in any way, not because they weren't atheists. The Crusades were directly religious in nature. Why else would Europeans be inspired to travel many thousands of miles away to occupy a small, isolated stretch of land in the desert with little wealth or natural resources? Same goes for the Inquisition, which was also religious in origin. Colonization wasn't simply religiously motivated, of course, but religion played a huge part in it just like it did in slavery.
The introduction of Christianity to blacks existed far before European/American slavery.
This is also true, and many important early Christians were African, but that's why I specifically qualified my statement to Black people living in the US with slave ancestors. Slaves were all from West Africa, where Christianity didn't have a foothold. They were all either Muslims or one of many indigenous religions, and so Christianity for American Blacks came purely through slavery.
What about those who were against slavery and also happened to teach Christianity?
Those people existed, yes, and they got their inspiration from their faith in part, but not from the Bible as it is actually written. Also, that doesn't absolve the Bible of its own endorsement of slavery.
In regards to cheering on 'our domineers,' let's examine the true purpose of Margaret Sanger's Planned Parenthood
Yes, Margaret Sanger had bad intentions, but the agenda of Planned Parenthood is totally different today, and Planned Parenthood offers many important services to poor Black people for whom childbirth and raising a family is, as the statistics show, a very risky endeavor on many levels. Being able to accurately plan parenthood and start a family on solid ground is a good thing, breh.
