i'm still waiting to hear logic, not cole-light or kendrick-light or whoever he is impersonating on this new album.
and it is not just his rapping style but some of his production also mimicks other artists.
and no i'm not hating,cause i sit down and give this clown a listen every time he drops, cause my brother is a fan
and every time it's the same shyt - this though was his worst shyt!!

The bold is exactly why even if you feel the album grated on that particular subject, it's a good thing he's giving a voice to a group of people who haven't really had one yet. Just means you weren't the target audience.
You can kinda gloss over the race issue with Cole and Drake but with Logic it's not so easy..I would imagine the same goes for his upbringing, he might have had a harder time with identity issues than they had so it might be more of a pressing issue to him.

I hate logic. Hate. Literally my most despised rapper of all time. He can spit but I hate his voice and subject matter. Also his biting is awful. Sounds like I'm listening to a middle class 12 year old making music from their bedroom

"biracial king" so accurate. i dont recall anybody repping biracial as hard as he has, although i think he reps black slightly more. idk why people take issue with logic doing it though, kendrick and others rep black just as much, hispanic rappers often mention race, etc. it is what it is.

I kinda dig his music even if he is not all that unique stylistically. Being biracial is something that he address pretty heavily and is probably something he's had to deal with his while his whole. I have no issue with him favoring his Black side though and I don't think he's using it to prop himself up or for credibility.
