This episode reminded me of two of my fave projects from this year: Malcolm & Marie and the third season of Master of None. The Malcolm and Marie comparison is obvious; a long take of relationship drama driven solely by dialogue. The Master of None comparison is based on the framing of shots. Not just general cinematography but the deliberate and effective framing of nearly every shot. I've been a fan of the two leads for years and they just fukking work.
