Chris Nolan need to understand that the plot twist shyt and the environments and score don’t mean anything if you don’t care about any of the characters (Dunkirk, TENET) or can’t hear them talk (every movie since Dark Knight)…

…and I’m a Nolan stan.

His last banger was Interstellar. TENET had a sick concept that they actually pulled off but John David Washington is a shyt actor (I’m sorry but he is—limited range and delivery is all Denzel). Dunkirk was weird in that it wasn’t entertaining in the traditional sense but was instead stressful and immersive which it was trying to be but didn’t give viewers anything to connect to it.
