It most certainly did. The first 4 seasons alone put it over BB. This show has dragons and magic yet somehow has less fantasy in it than BB. The writing didnt make BB a great show. Cranston made Walter a great character. GoT writing was amazing and several performances were as well. GoT falling off the last ouple seasons doesnt negate anything it was prior because the writing was leaps and bounds better. Even a fall off still makes it better than BB. The gap was THAT big.Someone had the audacity to say GoT has better writing than BB.

BB didnt even have enough performances to be considered greater. Lazy writing notwithstanding. Outside of Cranston, everyone on that show couldve been recast and brought nothing to their character. Took Aaron Paul how many seasons to give us a decent Jessie performance? Not one other starring cast member could even do that. The concept of the show was great and the writing was entertaining, but that doesnt make it a greatly written show just because it was entertaining. WWE writing is entertaining but youd be an idiot to call it good.

thank you...critics are getting far too carried away...I still suspect these are mostly folks who jumped on the show’s bandwagon late just to be in the mix...seasons 1-4 were damn near perfect...this current season has been the worst by far but not enough to negate the series...I saw one dude try to compare the shyt to ‘how I met your mother’
