Not really. His father was a piece of shyt that tried kill em. You act like the whore is the only reason he killed him. It was a catalyst sure but there was a lot of resentment there. He clearly has mad love for Jamie and has some sneak love/compassion for Cersei. It's really not that out of bounds.

The Great War will be in full effect. 10x action packed like battle of the b*stards.
Cutscenes of all the main characters looking up to the sky in disbelief. Then cuts to a huge meteor hitting westeros. Screen turns black.

I can see Tyrion saving Jamie from an execution .Dany won't be able to forgive him for killing the mad king. Tyrion won't let his brother be dragon food, so he let's him go as payback for saving Tyrion from execution.

Everyone thinks its Tyrion that will betray Dany out of love for his family/Jamie.
Maybe the fake out is that JON will betray Dany for love of family/Arya.
Maybe Dany and Arya run afoul of one another and Jon chooses being a Stark over being a Targareyon/lover
Peter Dinklage said that they jettisoned a Tyrion/Jon/Dany love triangle storyline and that that last scene was supposed to be the culmination.
I think after they abandoned the love triangle idea (thank GOD) that the scene was meant to convey Tyrion’s fear that Dany falling in love would somehow endanger the greater mission. She already flew off to save Jon and LOST a dragon because of it. Jon already put them all in an awkward position by publically proclaiming his allegiance to Dany and REFUSING to back down from it.
Those two in love make one unpredictable, fiery pair. And i much prefer Tyrion seein the potential danger in these two wounded, damaged, but still young souls coupling than him being in love with her and being jealous.

Wow, as you said....thank God that didn't come to fruition cause that would've brought S7 all the way down for me. That shyt just would not make sense.
