Bran can’t even sire heirs. Dude would be almost useless in a council meeting warging into the past while Tyrion is organizing jousting tournaments and Varys is whistling to his little birds

I mean I can see an end game with Bran as King. An all knowing God King could usher in a reign of peace that could last generations. His omniscience would make Westeros as a country unbreakable. If he is able to pass on his consciousness and rule permanently then that is a very twisted happily ever after that is kind of fukked up if you think about it. The wheel would actually be broken by this stranglehold on the throne. I could see GRRM going there.
But what I don't think the show has set up at all is why anyone in Westeros would support his ascension to the throne. They say a council votes on it but why would any of the great lords (which are unnamed so basically dont exist in the show until its convenient) support people like Sam and Tyrion and Davos and Bronn on this great council. It really doesn't make any sense because the showrunners haven't bothered to lay any foundation down for a Bran ascension to have any support beyond a few individuals that by themselves don't hold much power.

And boy, you all are being fukked with hard. HBO's social media teams must be sitting back and laughing their asses off at you. Do you really think Emilia Clarke would invite fans to watch with her if it wasn't a Daenerys-positive episode? Do you really think HBO and GRRM wouldn't be aware of the shytstorm that would be created by their most powerful heroic character turning evil in the last few episodes? Do you really think Emilia hasn't known her character arc's ending well before this last season? Maybe she's not entirely happy with the ending or not (I can tell you I don't know her and she's not my source, just to save you some time) but it didn't come as a big surprise to her.

a poster who supposedly has a clean track record with his sources is saying the series finale leaks like Bran on the Throne and Mad Queen are swerves he actually makes a good point about Emilia Clarke having a special sitdown with fans for episode 6 and not doing that unless her story ended on a more positive note

There is no way they are ending with that weirdo as a King but the other things make sense. Even Jon walking out makes sense because he never cared about being a King

I did not watch this show 8 years for this lame ass ending. Now I know how people who watched Lost felt. D&D shouldn’t be let near any other IP if they’re not going to take it serious enough to end the show properly. They’re not the first show writers to go beyond the books. So many shows have gone beyond the books they were adapting and they were able to make good tv. Like for real, come on son. HBO wanted 10 episodes too. They could’ve and should’ve flushed this out better.

yeah this is not believable at all, you are telling me after 8 seasons you got tier 3-4 characters in charge
