"Equal" and "unequal" are really not applicable terms here. It's like saying your lungs and your kidneys are "equal" or "unequal". That's not applicable terminology. I think that's what the OP means by "unequal". Men and women have different roles to play.

This "men want a challenge" stuff is an old wives tale that needs to die. A lot of women have internalized that nonsense like it's gospel. Men do NOT want a woman who is a challenge. They may want the woman who is worth the challenge, but no, they don't want a woman who is a challenge, per se.

If she's not worth it, he's not going to try to lock it down -- "challenge" or not.
