before i met my man, i used to pride myself on how ‘smart’ i was in regards to most the men i’ve met.

he humbled my ass real quick. i realized that my ‘smarts’ really didn’t matter. in some things, they do because he appreciates not having to explain everything to me when teaching me. and me already knowing a lot of things in which we discuss, like me being anti-feminist etc

being ‘educated’ in certain things is a plus but learning and practicing the art of controlling your tongue, feelings etc is more useful in relationships and means more to a man than the ability to go off about a certain subject. a man would much rather have a women of peace and support than an ‘educated’ women. a kind, gentless, peaceful women will make a man’s life feel easier than a educated on worldly things, one.
