My girl born and raised in Zimbabwe, has a farm and all that shyt. She got people everywhere and was an international student so she’s been everywhere…

I say that say, I’ve heard everything you just posted then some. I still could care less

I’ll go with her back home one day but outside of that I’m good. But like I told her, I’ll spend my free time on what I want to spend it on and that type of thing doesn’t appeal to me at all…

I was traveling in the 90s this isn't even an excuse, you'd go to the travel agent and they'd have books with destinations. Like I said how was it the rest of the world was traveling ?

So to wrap this up. Was it easier or harder? To go to the travel agent, if your town had one vs logging on from your phone on the toilet…


I was in London in the 80s. I stated enough times that people travel. But MORE people travel now cause it’s easier and more accessible

Yeah OP not everyone had a network set up for them of upper class people immigrating to the US who were already familiar with international travel.

You can find all of the perks of an international destination in the same country, nikkas aren't on a landlocked fog island, or permanently hot tropical mosquito zone, complete with "booty air" scent.

Exactly. It’s not like being in the UK and there’s like 20 countries a “short” flight away. You can literally fit 30 European countries in the US space

Funny how the majority of present day Nigerians only earn less than 500$ a year.

I’m sure with inflation and the lack of growth in that country during 80s/90s that number was exponentially lower.

Yet we got Nigerians in here arguing about having had passports and traveling internationally since the early 90s.

Also a good chunk of those is likely dual-nationals and naturalized citizens.
