The Coli never ceases to amaze me
Somehow the fathers dodge accountability. The black community is a matriarchy so I guess the leaders (women) are responsible.

its the schools fault, you got all these closet racist alt right educators
honestly if you cant do algebra you just might be a dummy or a lazy dummy lol
No. Baltimore is filled with lower class blacks and pg/ St Charles has a lot of section 8
Also the black community still struggles with prioritizing education. Not to mention the highest state taxes are in pg and Baltimore yet they have the worst schools. I guess basing school funding on local property tax effects some more than others

Hmm, interesting take on our people.
Bruh, I have no issue with you as a poster. I'm saying this from the heart, however it's taken.
Every time we criticize each other for shortcomings, it is deflected, and turned into something else.
Yes we've been victimized, and continue to be victimized, but we also cannot act like we are powerless to change our collective lot.
I can't speak to every black household in America, but my mother only cared about my education when I brought home poor mid-term reports, or bad report cards. Every now and again she'd ask me if I'm doing my homework, but that is it. You leave a child to their own devices, and 9.9 times out of 10 they aren't going to choose the proper path.
Some criticism is warranted. I do NOT believe the black community, overall, places as much importance on getting a quality education as we should.
When I was in school, 90 percent of the top students were white; most black students fell somewhere in the middle, and another minority was at the bottom. If we could fit in the medium without the majority of us having parents who DEMAND excellence, then what about if they did? I'm not saying deprive your child of a life, and it's sad that I have to say that - because many of us - I've seen it too many times - think you're hurting a child if you hold them to high standards.
Every black child I went to school with, who had excellent grades, they had parents who held them to a higher standard. I know, because I did my own research into this some years later when I reconnected with everyone on FB.
