too early to take a qb early
a WR, a stud ILB to pair up with bow, and a pass rusher are all bigger priorities down the road imo
not to mention, if the team is good earlier than we think, both kaep and gabbert will be serviceable.
No doubt, that's why I rather Kaep be serviceable (Gabbert is buns) so that we can get help at other positions in the draft next year.

Look who he's competing against. I know you said most pressure in a preseason game but I don't see how a dude who's played in a Super Bowl would feel that much pressure in a preaseason game, especially since he was injured last year and now healthy he has zero doubt he can out perform Lame Flabbert

Yea but he has 0 margin of error and this is after playing for the first time in almost a year. He's going to likely be a bit rusty. He's not going to be excused for meh play like Gabbert. He gonna have to take his job. I think he can do it.
