Me too, I actually think this season is going to turn out better than what everyone is expecting
i mean if jimmy t can win 5 chip can surely win 7-9
plus we wont have the worst line in the game featuring martin, devey, and pears

Exactly... this fast offense may come to our advantage.... especially in years to come when the team gets more and more adjusted to it.
Plus I really dont think the Rams are going to be hitting on nothing and I'm expecting a decline in either Seattle or Cards this year

I dont think anything from last year plays into this year...unless chip is pressured by front office one way or the other (and I can see reasons for FO pushing chip to start either one of the QBs tbh)I think the thought process is if Chip can do that with Foles and Bradford (whom I think sucked) he can do wonders with Gabbert whom seems to have impressed many from his play last year.
Gabbert is athletic though. He won't be a statue back there.
I see Gabbert getting the nod basically because he is "steady" and seems to have the juice right now. Kaep IMO is still the better fit, but I'm certain whoever starts...the backup will see playing time.
at least from what was said by Chip, this is supposed to be blank state, open competition kind of a thing.
maybe seattle cause of their o-line and palmer is always a huge injury risk
chip is better then fisher and i dont even have to look at fishers horrible record to say that. i dont know how he keeps his job unless teams are mesmerized by his porn stashe
I look forward to every season. I just think there will be some ups and some downs. Some pleasant surprises and some disappointments. I have 0 expectations. I think with Chip we will at least have a functional offense. Not so sure about the D though.
Fisher has more to work with. I think Chip is a pretty good coach. Just don't know if the talent is there for him to really do much with.

I do breh..... I think the pride of this team will come back with a vengeance. Teams are going to have to "relearn" how to play us.... we are going to be a bit different while everyone else is pretty much gonna be the same with smaller quarks here and there.
For Seattle..... they bout to learn that Rawls aint Beast Mode

This team is going to be awful.
Na.... last year I had no faith in Tomsula.... plus coming a season off losing 20+ high level players.... it wasnt shocking that we turned out bad

I was cautiously optimistic before last year, I didnt think wed make offs, but I thought the team was going to be better than most people predicted. I banked that on getting a better OC than Roman thus boosting offense, us still having some good defensive talent and the potential of baalke project pics at least panning out somehow (
). Anyway, once the Aldon thing happened, I already knew it wasnt finna go how I thought it would be.
This year, basically zero expectations. I dont believe we'll be utter trash like winning 2-3 games, but I don't see us being able to get even as much as 8 wins either even if all stars align right.
I believe Chip will make the offense better, but then aside from QBs and maybe RBs, Chip had much better talent on offense in Philly, and also objectively, playing 6 times against cards/hawks/rams is far different than giants/cowboys/skins.
And defense will probably let some teams score at will. We have shytty pass rush (and no pass rush when Lynch is suspended), our secondary cant cover, tackle or produce turnovers...and our Dline is in the process of re-shuffling and while it has some key pieces its too young/inexperienced to carry a defense...and I dont think a team can afford to play shytty defense in NFC West.

May be my hangover from the warriors, my pure disgust with the Yorks and the tomsula/Kelly hires, or my growing distaste for the way the nfl is run, but this is the first time...even thru the whole 03-10 seasons...that I'm truly not hype or interested in the upcoming football season.
If you didn't want kelly who was your choice?
