We're not going to draft Connor Cook are we? He and Hackenberg are the two QBs I least want them to draft
both of these dudes are NOT impressive. Rather stick with Kaep over that trash.
Now if we suck again and are in the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes

put it this way... if they hired hue jackson instead, i bet he wouldn't have asked for a trade
So do I but at lease this makes the O-Line competition truly competitive as oppose to bringing in stiffs.
Yup, he became the scapegoat for their incompetence. Problem is that he play didn't help, but wasn't NEARLY as horrific as many make him out to be.
Bingo.

Why? Because Hue is some sure-fire thing?
Give me the reasoning behind this logic, why Kaep wants to stay here with Hue.
I think Hue would have put him in positions to succeed and make him better.
I'm willing to give Chip KKKelly a chance
!
maybe you missed the stories... people didn't pull this out of thin air... eagles players were talking to the press, saying he was racist...I`ll address these 2 things
1. That is what YOU think about the situation, but you talk as if you know what that dogshyt QB 7 thinks.
2. You're really not though, you can say that, but it's obvious you already got this opinion of the guy and are ready to pounce. Don't fake the funk, just be honest.
I love the Chip is a racist thing though, cracks me up, all because he cut ties with two black players. So what do you make of signing Demarco Murray, Byron Maxwell and drafting Nelson Agolor, are they not black?
Or is there a special category of black you can be in? Inform me on this
maybe you missed the stories... people didn't pull this out of thin air... eagles players were talking to the press, saying he was racist...
now when the story ramped up, they brought shady mccoy on espn and sas asked him straight up... "tell me if i'm lying, i was walking in philly when 5-6 players hopped out the car, ran up on me, and started telling me about how chip kelly is" shady sat right there and said "yup, you're right"
so quit thinking that people just made this out of thin air.. like most reporters say, "if i report it, wrong or right, it's because someone told it to me, not cause i sat in my room and just made shyt up"
so whether he is racist or not... the players feel he is... or at the minimum, he has a major problem relating to black players.. and you think these players don't talk to each other? text about these things? talk about these things? of course they do
but you tell us... why of all the time after getting benched and knowing the front office was dumb, would kaep wait until chip was hired, then ask to leave
why would he not say shyt when hue was in the running... then as soon as they hire chip, the ONE team he asked to go to, is hue's team?
again... you can say HE'S dumb for this... but you can't argue why he wants to.. and it's obvious he wants nothing to do with chip kelly
Report: 49ers closer to keeping Kaepernick, paying him $11.9 million
Report: 49ers closer to keeping Kaepernick, paying him $11.9 million

For a few days -- beginning around the time Brock Osweiler spurned the Broncos to sign with the Texans -- Colin Kaepernick was the most sought-after quarterback in the league. Denver, with a sudden need at the position, was reportedly very interested, as were the Browns and Jets.
The 49ers were said to be looking for a second-round pick as compensation, which they have yet to get, suggesting that no one thinks Kaepernick is worth the price. Meanwhile, new 49ers coach Chip Kelly said Wednesday that he has no idea what will happen with Kaepernick, though CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco offers some insight.
“There's a good chance he's still on the team the way things look now,” a source told Maiocco early Thursday.
The source added that the Broncos, Browns and Jets haven't shown much urgency in acquiring Kaepernick, a reality which could be a function of the 49ers not budging off their demand of a second- or early third-round selection as compensation. As it stands, the expectation is that Kaepernick will be remain on the roster, and that means his $11.9 million base salary becomes fully guaranteed on April 1.
If that sounds familiar, 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said at the NFL combine last month that Kaepernick would "absolutely" be on the roster on April 1.
"If he's here on April 4 we're going to coach the heck out of him and he's going to work his [butt] off," Kelly told the Sacramento Bee this week.
The last time Kelly spoke about Kaepernick was at the NFL combine.
"He wants to be here," Kelly said at the time. "He's never expressed to me that he doesn't want to be here. He expressed to me that he was excited about getting healthy and getting going. And we're excited about him getting healthy and getting going."
Hours later, Kaepernick was asking to be traded. But there doesn't appear to be a market for him, and if nothing changes, that means the team will be on the hook for $11.9 million, and Kaepernick will have to battle Blaine Gabbert for the starting gig. Put another way, there's a scenario where the 49ers are paying their backup quarterback $11.9 million.
Good news: $11.9 million is actually slightly less than what replacement-level quarterbacks are being paid this offseason (Sam Bradford and Brock Osweiler are averaging $18 million a season under their new deals).
Bad news: San Francisco wouldn't be any closer to solving its quarterback dilemma.
Given that Gabbert outperformed Kaepernick last season -- and, more importantly, has a base salary of $1.75 million in 2016 -- we're surprised these same teams going after Kaepernick aren't interested in Gabbert; his salary is peanuts and he almost certainly could be had for something less than a third-round pick.
Either way, the fact that we're breathlessly discussing both tells you all you need to know about the dearth of serviceable NFL quarterbacks.
as long as kaep isnt depressed and shyt about not getting a trade and just starts not giving a fukk...Im fine with us keeping him. we do get to see what chip can do with him which should at least be intriguing
