The Raiders GM is going to win executive of the year next season.
Dude got easily the best O-lineman and 2nd and the best defensive player in free agency, essentially giving them the freedom to draft BPA.
We tender Jordan Devey.
I do like re-signing Ian Williams long term and I think we should keep TJE.
We may want to take a look at Evan Mathis, he's old but still pretty effective.

No but it just sucks to see Baalke invest in such a low-level talent, I'd rather bring back a practice squad player.

If they really dumb enough to set us back with a bum ass QB like Gabbert plus a potential rookie who won't be ready for 3 years (or till we lose patience cuz he had one bad season) and an even shyttier OLine..... Arguably worst 3 in the league.

outside of a couple of players, the 9ers aren't missing much honestly. i think a lot of that money came from players that retired so they're probably still trying to figure out the direction they need to go in before signing players that don't fit or won't help make a huge improvement for us.
plus i think free agents rather play for any other team than the 9ers right now

Yea but Devey is literally the worst guard in the league, even a 7th round pick would probably be an upgrade. Either way we need to invest in the O-Line while we can. We have the money to do so and still have money to spend.

Osemele, alex mack, incognito, malik jackson and sean smith were the only big name free agents i wanted the 9ers to sign. if we couldn't get any of them then i'm fine with finding players through the draft or giving young players PT so we can see how much they've developed. this is still a rebuilding year so it'll be good to see what we have to work with and where we will have to improve. the obvious is O-line but it doesn't make sense to throw big money at a player who's on the downside of their career while we're rebuilding. we'll just have to find another replacement by the time the team establishes themselves 2-3 years down the road. i consider this an evaluation year of the young players we have.
i've defended baalke on here and think he's a good GM, but he's been dropping the ball lately. i would give him 2-3 years to build this team and if we don't see improvements such as playoff contenders then he gotta go.
