Dressing and stuffing are 2 completely different sides. I was in shock when I first moved here because I use to hate stuffing. Some states in the south don't call it stuffing.
Dressing has cornbread, meat and some greens and other stuff in it. It's probably hands down, the best Thanksgiving side next to mac n cheese and yams.

Mashed potatoes got to go even though I fukk with them too. My family has never not had mashed potatoes. Mainly cause they use the turkey drippings to make the gravy to put on the mashed potatoes.

I thought the difference was that Stuffing is cooked stuffed inside the turkey, and Dressing is cooked separately. Same ingredients though.

stuffing uses cut up bread most of the time and dressing uses cornbread.
