Watched this shyt and I still have no idea what this movie was about :mindblown:

I wouldn't say it was bad but I really don't see the point of the movie.

I guess it was based on a true story and I knew nothing about it so :yeshrug:

That nikka Brad Pitt was the GOAT best friend doe :wow:

The film is basically about friendship and an actor struggling with his career.

Finally watching it. Good stuff so far. :ehh:

At the part with Bruce Lee. Man, QT did him dirty; from the attitude to the fight. :picard: :dahell:
Not if you look at it as a scene putting old hollywood vs new hollywood from Cliff Booth perspective. It's a flashback, so we don't even know if it really happened that way, or if Cliff is just imagining it. He used to be an established stuntman, who did things the old way, and suddenly, upstarts like Bruce Lee are getting the jobs, while he is struggling. So of course he perceives him as arrogant and believes/wishes he could whoop his ass in a fight.

However you wann see it, The point is you don’t use a well respected person who actually existed as a way to show “art.” It’s disrespectful to the legacy of that man and his family.

But you liked the movie which was centered around the death of Sharon Tate and her friends?

Had no problem with it.

Bruce Lee is an actor, not a deity:yeshrug:

Are you seriously saying something like this? :what:

Would you like it if you were portrayed as something you weren’t? You spend your life doing positive, then some stranger you never met decides to paint a different picture about you.

QT had Lee come off as a cocky, jackass bum. Even if he was a little cocky, there’s no need to make it seem like his entire personality is. That’s not right. :snoop:

Breh, what the hell are you talking about? I never said anything about Tate’s character portrayal. Just because I didn’t mind the STORY she was used for doesn’t mean a damn thing about her character use. :what:
you know what, my bad. I see what you mean with how Lee was portrayed as a loudmouth.

I don't agree with you, but I get it.
