Facts. Just one week later, It Was Written dropped and everybody forgotten about this album until 1998 when it was reissued due to the success of Hard Knock Life. In the words of Jay-Z himself, "didn't really appreciate it until the 2ND one came out"

I bought this album back in 96 just off the strength of Ain’t No Ni66a but when I heard them guns bussin for the first time and then Pain in da Azz said “Okay I’m reloaded” 
It’s on the first page. Just when I thought I heard everything. New shyt I learn about the album. They also making one for the 15 year anniversary for Bp1
