It's pathetic really, they make claims but won't back it up. They want to try to tear down other rappers verses rather then show why Ross writes good songs or has lyrical verses.Da fukk?

This dude just copied and pasted lyrics from rapgenius with ZERO emphasis on the supposed "quotables".

I copied a brilliantly WRITTEN song. One of the best hip hop has ever produced. To show how you write a good song. That whole song is a quotable.

Now, show me a well written Rick Ross song. Put the lyrics down.

Why is it so hard for you Ross stans to do it? Everybody has been asking for pages now and yet you stans just duck it.

He writes good songs. Again what rappers besides Nas, T.I., Kanye, etc. talk about wide variety of topics? Again, not Jay_Z and Biggie and those are said to be two of the all-time greats. So because he picks great beats thats a problem, Nas is said to pick trash beats and therefore he's unlistenable, same with some others. You guys hate for no reason. .

I'm still waiting for you to post a great verse by anybody that I can rip to shreads, but you refuse to. Why is that?

:ld: thread about ross doe

shyt i like ross too but what they sayin is true, his lines are interchangeable but aint nothin wrong with that imo cuz they're still bangers

I'll listen to that nikka all day but dont ask me for a quotable that makes sense :yeshrug:

Here since you Ross fakkits won't I'll do it.

Uhh
Uhh
I'm so compassionate with my compositions
Check it

[Verse 1:]
Fascinated with foreign felines
Since I was knee high
This cigar got me buzzin like a beehive
fukk my old chick I'm ridin with my new thing
In her blue jeans, panties like shoestrings
Most wanted, I'm Bid Laden on a beat nikka
Rubberband jeans saggin on my feet nikka
100 grand for the wagon and her feet nikka
Black flaggin just braggin I'm a street nikka
On the grind little rappers wanna eat with us
Tryin to shine like birdman man teeth glitters
VMA find time just to creep with her
So coincidental walkin down the street with her
My loose cheese scooped up the Gucci
In 2 weeks I flew thru the boutiques
She get her time livin when I let her go and shop
Cruisin in the car click the cuban at the top
nikkas know that my techs explode
Down to go toe to toe before tecmo bowl
Biggest boss in the game, chedder I never mind that
Cause if it matter c murder would go diamond
I reflect as I'm ridin in a Rolls Royce,
Get respect because I give these hoes no choice

[Chorus:]
Because I
Because I do it
So if you never seen a boss nikka,
Then look at me
Because I do it
And they never seen a boss nikka
But now they see
Because I do it
And I do it
I-I-I-I-I
And I do it
Yeah so now you see what it means
To be a boss cause I do it

[Verse 2:]
I'm the down-south Nas
Click so fur
Ridin with a fox as the cigar burn
nikkas sell weed, nikkas sell coke
If I was sellin dope baby id be sellin both
But I'm sellin records everything I touch gold
Better yet check the record 3 million sold
2 hand guns on the writers for the shows
On the road to the riches when I'm ridin on vogues
I elaborate on things I only been bout
Besides, we decides whos the in crowd
If it's ne-yo and nikkas who speakin creo
But I got the prove we just keep movin kilos
See the Altima it's call it terminator
The exact watch only war on terminator
I let her ride me like a elevator
Clip another cuban as I wait to celebrate her

[Chorus]

Fascinated with foreign felines
That's my design
As I recline cut em like key lime
We both came now it's right back to the tea time
I wanna soda with no vogo and no cheap wine
She told me betterer than man broke
Walkin on the clouds in my second hand smoke
I touched her with the seconds hand stroke
Got her mind racin quicker than a Lambo
2 seater it could'ntfit tacara
But I promise baby I'll be back tomorrow
In a big beamer bumpin Bob Marley
Listen closely and hit a woman softly

[Chorus]

That's it? That's a well written song to you? Where's the quotables? What's the great concept of this song? It's the same kind of lyrics he always spits.

You want to see how a good song is written. Ok here we go.

[Chorus]
Yes yes y'all and you don't stop
1,2 y'all and you don't stop
Yes yes y'all and you don't stop
1,2 Com-Sense is gonna' drop

Verse One:

I met this girl, when I was 10 years old
And what I loved most, she had so much soul
She was old school, when I was just a shorty
Never knew throughout my life she would be there for me
On the regular, not a church girl, she was secular
Not about the money, no studs was mic checkin her
But I respected her, she hit me in the heart
A few New York nikkaz, had did her in the park
But she was there for me, and I was there for her
Pull out a chair for her, turn on the air for her
And just cool out, cool out and listen to her
Sittin on bone, wishin that I could do her
Eventually if it was meant to be, then it would be
Cuz' we related, physically and mentally
And she was fun then, I'd be geeked when she'd come around
Slim was fresh jo, when she was underground
Original, pure untampered and down sister
Boy I tell ya, I miss her

[Chorus]
Yes yes y'all and you don't stop
1,2 y'all and you don't stop
Yes yes y'all and you don't stop
1,2 Com-Sense is gonna' drop

Verse Two:

Now periodically I would see
Ol' girl at the clubs, and at the house parties
She didn't have a body but she started gettin' thick quick
Did a couple of videos and became afrocentric
Out goes the weave, in goes the braids beads medallions
She was on that tip about, stoppin the violence
About my people she was teachin me
But not preachin to me but speakin to me
In a method that was leisurely, so easily I approached
She dug my rap, that's how we got close
But then she broke to the West coast, and that was cool
Cause around the same time, I went away to school
And I'm a man of expandin', so why should I stand in her way?
She probably get her money in L.A.
And she did stud, she got big pub but what was foul
She said that the pro-black, was goin out of style
She said, "Afrocentricity, was of the past."
So she got into R&B hip-house bass and jazz
Now black music is black music and it's all good
I wasn't salty, she was with the boys in the hood
Cause that was good for her, she was becomin well rounded
I thought it was dope how she was on that freestyle shyt
Just havin' fun, not worried about anyone
And you could tell, by how her titties hung

[Chorus]
Yes yes y'all and you don't stop
1,2 y'all and you don't stop
Yes yes y'all and you don't stop
1,2 Com-Sense is gonna' drop

Verse Three:

I might've failed to mention that the chick was creative
But once the man got to her, he altered the native
Told her if she got an image and a gimmick
That she could make money, and she did it like a dummy
Now I see her in commercials, she's universal
She used to only swing it with the inner-city circle
Now she be in the burbs lookin' rock and dressin' hip
And on some dumb shyt, when she comes to the city
Talkin about poppin glocks, servin rocks, and hittin switches
Now she's a gangsta rollin with gangsta bytches
Always smokin blunts and gettin drunk
Tellin me sad stories, now she only fukks with the funk
Stressin how hardcore and real she is
She was really the realest, before she got into show-biz
I did her, not just to say that I did it
But I'm committed, but so many nikkaz hit it
That she's just not the same lettin all these groupies do her
I see nikkaz slammin her, and takin her to the sewer
But I'ma take her back hopin that the shyt stop
Cause who I'm talkin bout y'all is hip-hop

Ok fakkit, post the Rick Ross equivalent to this song. Tear this song to shreds.

Show us how its done then. Highlight the "quotables" in them verses :shaq:

Really? Your going to argue against I used to love h.e.r.?

The subject switched to song writing, I posted a well written song that followed a brilliantly executed concept.

Now show me the Ross equivalent. Show how Ross writes good songs.

Now, if you want me to post up some more battle rap type verses filled with quotables I will. I can post up some songs with actual deep subject matter as well.

Here's a technically impressive verse that I mentioned earlier:

I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies
and hypothesis can't define how I be droppin these
mockeries, lyrically perform armed robbery
Flee with the lottery, possibly they spotted me
Battle-scarred shogun, explosion when my pen hits
tremendous, ultra-violet shine blind forensics
I inspect you, through the future see millenium
Killa B's sold fifty gold sixty platinum
Shacklin the masses with drastic rap tactics
Graphic displays melt the steel like blacksmiths
Black Wu jackets queen B's ease the guns in
Rumble with patrolmen, tear gas laced the function
Heads by the score take flight incite a war
Chicks hit the floor, diehard fans demand more
Behold the bold soldier, control the globe slowly
Proceeds to blow swingin swords like Shinobi
Stomp grounds and pound footprints in solid rock
Wu got it locked, performin live on your hottest block

Now show me a Ross verse that's equivalent to that from a technical standpoint.

PHILLY #Byrdgang
I remember being blind to it
Til the day I put my mind to it
Pen and pad on the dresser for me to fine tune it
I sat in the corner, made up my mind, do it!
Def Jam on my heels, should I sign to it?
Million dollar advance for me to rhyme fluent
Every day I’m hustlin’ on every corner boomin’
Back of the Phantom couldn’t fathom I was such a student
Grandfather deal for the Godfather
Lucian Grainge from the ghetto, I follow God’s orders
And he told me I was rich forever
Then he showed me I was rich forever
They call me Mr. Roberts when I’m in the bank
Digits like the Dodgers when it comes to franks
Flossin’ out in Compton like I got a cape
RoseMo tried to fight it, but barely nikkas fade
White sheet, yellow tape, where your dogs at
Count a million cash, can you blog that?
Me and nikkas your type, never exchange numbers
Wanna conversate and steal game from us
See the watch, now you want to know the name of it
Never playin’ so I went and got the frame flooded
Cartier, Hublot, I could name a dozen
Your shyt pushed back cuz it ain’t buzzin’
Now these thugs actors all of a sudden
nikkas hustle backwards all of a sudden
Can’t talk snow, where the soft at?
Your man got murked, but you squashed that
Hope you know what we call that
I think you know just what we call that

All you p*ssy boys fall back
Big face Rolly, Rolls Gold cost 40
Platinum twenty one, it’s time to go and spoil shorty
You only live once I’m screaming YOLO in the VI
Time flies fast balling with my nikka T.I
Ciroc, no glass, smiling women in my presence
Tall supermodels always fall in my possession
Atlanta housewives taking pictures in my section
But I only got a thing for young bytches with aggression
Show me that affection that a D-Boy craves
Rich forever in my D-Boy ways
Sold dope, blue jeans, new J’s
Sold dope by any means all day
