On my 2nd playthrough for The Last of Us 2 . Why does the story gets so much praise again?

The story had problems, but the way you wanted it to go down would have been stupid as fukk. Them just talking it out and forgiving each other would have been WOAT level writing. Everyone knew by the end of the first game that Joel would be killed for his actions and that Ellie would be the protagonist in the sequel. I don't know why some of yall expected some uncharted type adventure with Joel and Ellie.

She knows because all her buddies were there when it happened. Mel & Nora even trained under her dad and Mel left the voice recorder relying the events (which Ellie ends up finding).

So if they genuinely save you from your face being eaten and offers resources to help your group survive, you still kill them in revenge? Like what good does that do? Think about the optics of that situation, if you were really in that bind and ole boy got you out of it and gave your group supplies to make it to your destination. They'd still want you dead, only killing Joel was their thanks for saving her, because they could have easily killed Tommy, Ellie and her girlfriend along with joel.

Yeah i feel like people are just sitting in the comfort of their homes trying to figure this out but if you were living amongst flesh eating planet people, at constant war with neighboring factions, and worried about getting infected, you’re not really thinking like a rational human.

These people are savages, everyday is killing.
