I have a savior complex.
Yeah I'm rescuing the kids in dire times.They didn’t even wake Ellie up, didn't tell her about the low chance survivability, didn't let her make that decision.
Joel was justified and did what any normal person would do.This is why the story don't make sense

Children are the catalyst for change in the game and TLOU seriesSeraphites were their sworn enemies though, but they saved her and she changed her mind
If you want to go down that rabbit hole Abby going against the entire WLF for Seraphite children in 3 days was not believable for some people
However, in real life children are the most likely cause for someone to act differently

Anybody with revenge in their heart would before using the golf club. You'd at least shout why you bout to club em to death.
Had Abby brought up Joel killing the doctor we'd have a completely different story on our handsNone of it makes sense and the ending definitely trash. We can atlest admit that

Joel knew ex-fireflies would catch him slipping eventually, thats why after he asked who they were….he was like oh, ok….get it over with.
Why would she question him? She had all the information she cared to know. She knews Joel was paid to deliver ellie, she knews her father was trying to do the right thing, and she knews Joel double crossed them in the end.If Abby didn't know that, maybe she should've questioned Joel

Well she didn't know everything. Joel never double crossed them, he only did it to keep Ellie alive because she was basically a daughter to him
But that's besides the point, as killing him did nothing anyway. He saved her from being eatan alive and offered her group resources for survival. That alone is forgiveness. Story was badly written.
