Unfortunately, my tv broke. We had an earthquake, and my oled tipped over so that was the end of its chapter.

On the good side, at least i the know the oleds being released this year have hdmi 2.1 so thats worth upgrading to.
what do the new 2.1 do? whats the point

I might wanna buy a new tv soon...:mjcry: any recommendations I'm looking for bigger but cheaper, nothing expensive...
TCL. i think the brand from china

they just drop the 75 in 4k led for the last year 6 series (2018). if you looking for 4k tv(non-oled) i would go for sizes 77-77 and up

the price most likely will drop later this year when the new 2019 version drop

Are you guys actually streaming/watching 4K movies though
The amount of storage I need to hold all of these films and shows in 4K quality :picard:

I had a 4tb HD I had laying around and am filling it with H.265 rips. I'm using Kodi to play them back.

.265 files are roughly half the size of .264's and support 10bit HDR vs 264's 8bit SDR

RARBG Torrents , filmi , download

I have a media server I built myself with 48TB of storage. I use a Netgear Nighthawk X10 to stream full bandwidth 4k to Nvidia Shields and an Apple TV.
