Meh, I use zero of that shyt, and definitely don't want that spyware shyt on my TV. It's hard enough keeping any semblance of privacy on my phone and computers. My TV is for displaying my Xbox and Shield only."If you’re wondering if your older TV will be updated to 6.0, the answer is most likely “no” (LG doesn’t do major OS updates)."
WelcomeJust made the jump, ordered the 55" LG CX on Amazon. It was on sale for $1396 plus it has a coupon for $47 off and I had $11 left on my Amazon move credit and between gift cards and credit card points an additional $670 I could take off. I bought the TV for $772, very excited, should be coming February 1st.
Both my TVs have Nvidia Shields on them. I almost never use the TV OS for much of anything."If you’re wondering if your older TV will be updated to 6.0, the answer is most likely “no” (LG doesn’t do major OS updates)."
This. I almost wish I could turn it off and just have the TV boot right up. I might have used WebOS 3 times in 5 years. Both my TVs have Nvidia Shields on them. I almost never use the TV OS for much of anything.

I got a Rokus Ultra also. I just used the Shield in 2017 and liked it. Mine died out of the manufacturer's warranty so my credit card company refunded me due to their extended warranty. Took that credit and got the 2019 model. I went back to Nvidia after and complained as it was out of warranty and they sent me another 2017 model free. Messed up cause Nvidia doesn't repair them at all. If it dies out of warranty unless they replace it you're SOL.I'm a roku stan myself
Quarantine is about to get a whole lot betterPicking up my cx 77 today
By that time, 80 to 100 inch OLEDs will probably be affordable, unless MicroLED replaces it, but they will probably have large ones affordable by then, too.Got the 65” CX a few months ago...
...And it’s mid-key already looking small now.
Will likely grab a projector next time (won’t be
for another 8-10 years though)
Yeah them big ass TVs get unwieldy to move and set up though.By that time, 80 to 100 inch OLEDs will probably be affordable, unless MicroLED replaces it, but they will probably have large ones affordable by then, too.
Unless you move a lot, you will likely only set it up onceYeah them big ass TVs get unwieldy to move and set up though.
