Fucc a price drop, 55 inch G4 secured and coming in on Tuesday. :banderas:
I remember buying a 55 inch Samsung S95B for like $2200 at release and seeing them on sale months later for damn near half that. I bought in April and by Black Friday people was getting the same TV for $1200. Hell they were getting the 65 inch for less than I paid for the 55.

I learned my lesson. Buying any TV at launch is just an instant L. You wait a 5-6 months and get a better deal. You get last year's model and you get 85-90% the same TV for way less. You can go on Woot right now and get the 55in S95C for $1300. the 55 in S95D is $2600 on Amazon. That's 2 for the price of 1. There's no way the S95D is double better than the S95C.

I recently had to move my gaming pc from the living to my bedroom last week while having family over for a couple days and man, that shyt was pure trash. playing on a non-oled TV. This C2 done spoiled me. Games like Dragon's Dogma at night with pure black is incomparable. This BF I'm think about copping another O

This Ncaa 25 with football coming up got me thinking about getting a new tv.. :patrice:

I dont really watch tv much during the year but during football season saturday and sunday I can just veg out forreal all day, especially my team on the road..

But I hear the main draw back is burn in for these screens.. with sports they have those score bugs and tickers at bottom, is that something to worry about with me watching ball from sun up to sun down on weekends? :sadcam:Especially CFB saturdays, I dont play for them 12 weeks out the year

they have technology now to reduce burn in. I've had my C9 for about four years and no burn in. I watch sports, YT and game. I also sleep with the tv on so during the weekends it's on most of the day unless I leave.

I feel in order to get burn in, the TV would need to be on ESPN 24/7 no breaks. It refreshes itself after a certain amount of hours (if you've been watching for a while) as well.
