Video games in 120 with vrr :banderas::banderas::banderas::banderas:

Haven't watched any movies but Interstellar on Bluray will be the first thing watched. This is fukking amazing.. Can't believe I've been watching LED tv for 10 years
been playing 120 fps with VRR since 2020 with my LG. its a glorious sight to behold. question, I ask this of everybody. was the jump from LED to OLED bigger for you than the jump from 1080p to 4k? cuz it def was for me. assumed OLED was just the next big fad but 3 years later good god it really is basking in the glory

Yea it's a much bigger jump. First thing I turned on was an NFL game.. That shyt looked like I was on the field with them. I was so pissed that I also saw it as some gimmick, that I wasted all these years with regular LED. Then I popped in that Spidey in 120 VRR, turned on the atmos... It's a whole other level...

Just waiting on my girl to show up so we can watch the Interstellar Bluray :banderas:

I'm trying to decide between the LG C3 and the Samsung S90C
Rtings has the S90C as the best tv out but I've always heard LG was the godfather of OLED and best overall tvs. Just wondering if anyone had to decide between these two tvs and what deciding factor drove your pick (they both around the same price)

Also I have a 65 Samsung at home now and it looks fine in terms of size, actually when I copped 7-8 yrs ago everybody was blown away by the size when they came over. Yesterday I went to Best Buy and the 65' looked small on the displays to me :patrice:. I can't tell if it's an optical illusion cause they were next to 77 and 85s or if it's actually small now.....The 77in variant of the two tvs i'm looking at is an extra $1k over the 65in versions. I wish I knew someone with a 77in to go in their house and actually gauge how much better it is than my current set up. Did anyone make the jump from 65 to 77, is that shyt really worth a whole stack more:sadbron:

Saw this yesterday in the 85in and it looked amazing, but was out of my price range ($5K)
The Samsung is QD OLED. You can't compare the C3 to that TV. It's notch below the S90c. Gotta compare it to the G3 and the new panel that they're using.

Is there a significant difference between C3 and G3?
Yes. I would get a G3. If price is an issue just wait till at least the Super Bowl G3 should be cheaper. And it’s also smart to wait until they announce the G4 to get the G3. If you don’t already have it might as well wait.

Just moved into a much bigger crib and I was in the market for a 77 inch Oled

I wanted to go back to Sony, the A80J was the best tv I ever owned - the processing that shyt did was truly phenomenal - the a80L at 77 inches was 2699, the A95L (Best tv I've ever seen in my life) was 5000...

Was going to bite for the Sony ....

But then I seen the Samsung A90C at 77 inch for 2000 - took a chance and copped

QD-OLED is the truth!!! if the A95L is a 10.0 this shyt here is a 9.7

Did some research and found that you could hack the tv and turn it into a S95c (Their flagship) - you get some extra brightness, current thought is since they are the same panel, you're not risking anything - also the color accuracy is much better this year than the last - colors still pop though ,almost looks 3d

Hands down this is the best gaming HDR experience I’ve ever had - along with this beating the goat gaming tv - Samsung did its thing with the game mode

I took some pictures, I’m blown away
