The comparison is the feeling of vulnerability and powerlessness that a woman instinctively feels around men can be compared to the powerlessness that black men feel around cops.

How that vulnerability and weakness manifests itself (The physical differences for women and the amount of power and leeway given to cops) doesn't really matter, it's the mindset.

Even if the vast majority of interactions that women have with men are overwhelmingly pleasant, that vulnerability still has to be accounted for, because most average women are powerless to stop an angry man from fukkingthem up.
