You idiots that seem to say "Hey, it's a rare fukking occasion and it's not the norm so why be scared" sound stupid as all fukk.

The vast majority of police encounters don't end with the civilians getting shot but is the police killing you still a fukking reality? As a black man, do you get nervous dealing with police because you know that if shyt went down, you're almost powerless to keep a dikk cop from killing you and getting away with it? Does it frame how you deal with the majority of cops?

Same fukking concept where you feel almost completely powerless in that situation.

The statistics in this situation don't really matter because average women get hit on CONSTANTLY by different dudes on the regular and it just takes one of the more "Elliot Rodger" type to be one of the thousands of dudes that hit on a single girl in a year to snap and end her life.

Imagine if you got pulled over by the cops or had to deal with them a thousand times a year. Imagine that they were usually pretty decent and usually not looking to hurt anyone or cause problems. Wouldn't fukking matter because you know that all it takes is or pissy cop, in a bad mood, to turn you into a statistic and you're almost powerless to stop it.

Now imagine white peoples started telling yo that most cops are good dudes, police killings make up 1% of police interactions with civilians, and acted like it was unreasonable for black people to be wary of police officers.

That's what happening when you dismiss female feelings and the very real fear that women deal with which is the feeling of powerlessness. As a man, that feeling of vulnerability doesn't really hit you unless it's very apparent but most women instinctively understand that they're very physically vulnerable around men. It's an uncomfortable feeling to wrap our minds around because we aren't wired like that.

Its very unfortunate this woman lost her life and my heart goes out to her kids, but that's where the ball stops. I think that it would be a good start if used with logic and common sense.
I don´t see a problem in a man approaching a woman to say a compliment or even say whatever they wanna say, it´s very simple to just ignore. The problem is when AFTER the woman ignores / rejects, some men keep pushing it and that´s when it becomes harrasing. That´s what I think it should be controlled.
I am used to being catcalled and if it´s just that, I really don´t care, just ignore... But it happened to me once that even after I asked the guy to stop he kept walking behind me and chasing me for 3 blocks saying stuff... That´s what I think is fukked up and should stop NOW.

But wouldn't that be considered stalking? You can pre-determine what will lead to that harassment, as in, merely suspect a man will do all that to you before he even opens his mouth the first time.
