Honestly, I think this shyt should come back



The idea was pretty good, but the execution was horrible. How you gonna have a 1 on 1 basketball game against rappers without music? I mean the gameplay aint really bad, its pretty basic. but still... Where Gangstas Paradise at? Where Regulate at? Even on SNES, they coulda tossed some instrumentals to liven up the game... also who the fukk is joey/jose/all the other generic ass characters

Game came out in 95 and these nikkas put House of Pain in there nikkas aint jumpin around no more... what happened to kriss kross? why they aint add Mc Hammer and his parachute pants? Why the fukk is Flava Flav in the game, his old ass need to sit the fukk down

Its aight, not the best ball game on snes but its also not the worst. Then again, these the people who made the bebe kids game so this probably the best game they ever put out...

still a wasted opportunity considering most of the game is quiet as hell outside the sound effects. really coulda used music to liven shyt up

Unfinished/Rushed games like this were common in the 90s for SNES/SEGA/Arcade they would take games from Japan by licensing them for just the code then tack their own sprites on top to flog the games. That's why SNES and SEGA have so much shovelware.

Some games were just made by less than 10 people it was that easy to churn out.

It was made by a french company "64WD Creations S.A.R.L" and published by "Motown Games" (Which was part of Motown Records). The game itself is average but the backgrounds do look good, as do the portraits considering the hardware (So I dont think its some rushed out/unfinished game) like I said, the main issue is that there is no music playing during the game itself, the only music is during the menu screens.

The head developer did end up leaving for Sony of Europe tho

This is horrible. Ripe with glitches, graphical errors, clipping, horrible voice acting.

If you're looking for nostalgia, don't get this. It is not a good experience.

edit: some more positive reviews coming in, but still a lot of complaints about bugs

I'd like to see Earthworm Jim and Streets Of Rage remade for the new generations more than anything.

Earthworm Jim is one of my favourite childhood games. Both instalments were really dope.

I played Earth worm jim, but I think it was a rental. But holy shyt, I played and beat Streets of Rage so many times it's crazy. I'm just not remembering this now. Beat it by myself, then with my older bro, then with a friend, then with my cousin, and then by myself again. I really just loved that game.

Imma say Streets of Rage as well.
