I remember as far back as '93-94 when the E stood for Eastern, before they re-branded it.
Sports Channel Philadelphia. Tuesdays at 6pm.

then when sports channel went off the air circa '96, they moved to channel 48.

btw, '95 & '96 were their best years.

Reading about them in magazines like Pro Wrestling Illustrated when they were Eastern Championship Wrestling and they had all the former stars like Don Muraco, Terry Funk, Eddie Gilbert, etc. Kept up with them religiously, especially living in the Memphis territory.

Got my parents to add the DirecTV regional sports package in 1995 so I was able to catch the weekly episodes on SportsChannel Philadelphia & MSG Network. I still got the episodes on VHS.

I'm a young'n and was a toddler during their heyday but my older brother got into the same way. When we lived in Connecticut from 95-98 he said him and his homeboy used to stay up till like 2am to watch ECW on MSG Network
