I was shytting in diapers in 85. I don’t think there’s enough people that were old enough to have an intelligent conversation about their feelings on the matter here. Most of us found out Michael was darker after the fact because he was white by the time we first saw him.
:pachaha:
Yeah, I always assumed he just looked like a white woman. We used to joke about that shyt as kids :mjlol:

I vaguely remember sitting in front my grandma's TV. Either an interview or performance. The camera closed in on MJ's face and my uncle yelled out "Him ah bleach to rahtid!".

The other adults in the house erupted.

We were mostly shocked to learn that he used to be black.

I was born in 87 but i grew up just knowing he went from black to white because my aunts/uncles would have all his videos on VHS. I dont remember being shocked i just always knew

Honestly never gave a fukk, his appearance changed but his music/performances never suffered because of it. The man is a legend, icon and the greatest performer of all time

When you think about it, hes the first child to grow up with cameras in his face his entire life. He was a star at 9 years old and was never able to live a normal life because of his talent, he lived the majority of his life in the spotlight

:pacspit: at anyone that throws dirt on his name
