Now obviously he came out in an Opeah interview saying he had vitiligo.
But back in 85 thos wasn't known.
How did black people react..breh by that prolly had at least 3 nose jobs and appeared to be bleaching his skin.
No wonder breh was recluse and depressed..during the prime of his music and as a man his sexual prime breh gets diagnosed with vitiligo when he already had fukked self a steam.
What's interesting also is I cant find any comedians going in on his skin color /surgery during that time.
Even Eddie Murphy stayed clear of the skin and plastic surgery jokes.
Me too. We black people just had so much love for Michael going all the way back to the j5 days. I guess we just gave him a pass. I mean its Michael Jackson bruh. The goat of all goats
Exactly it was gradual. It wasnt like sammy Sosa's where one day you see him he was black, then the next day he was white, no it wasnt like that.I was born in 1986 so I'm not gonna sit here and front like I was alive during the whole transition but it wasn't a jump from like Off the Wall with dark skin, broad nose, and afro to Bad with fair skin, thin nose, and the long hair style overnight. It was gradual, he changed his nose and hair style while he was still dark skinned::
...and then he started to lighten up year after year. You can see it in his performances...he had a bunch of in-between stages so I don't think it ever really hit people as dramatic as if you just hold Thriller next to Bad and compare and contrast.
Why the fukk you talking about hair? James Brown, Prince and many others from MJ,s time had silky hair. He’s an entertainerMy auntie has it but her hair didn’t turn fine and silky like white ppl. She went from Toni Braxton to Lisa Bonet.
we knew back then mike was on some trash.
No we don’t understand thatThe only thing you can knock mike for as far as being on some c00n shyt is the 3 white kids... there's literally no defending that. Even the plastic surgery and nose jobs you can chalk up as him just being insecure about his looks. His dad made fun of him so we understand that. But the kids... yea I wish I can rationalize that but I cant.
