No doubt one of the homies would have bought it. I had a few friends who were mad for anything from DR, just like No Limit. I probably would have got a dub at some point jist to check it out

Cube was a c00n, and the stereotypical angry pro blk millitant, hating on Hammer's success.... and ironically because of Hammer's success it paved the way for Cube's later success in the late 90's in hollywood, when Cube decided to be more commercial, and family friendly.

Yup. I heard he was still rhyming w/o profanity usage even though he was signed to DR.
