I dont think they should split Bam and AD, that pairing is dominant defensively and you can literally put any 3 around them. If anything I’d start KD and go with Booker, Ant, Tatum, Bam, AD as the second unit.

USA just played the greatest game in the history of their international teams. Had several legitimate all time performances from some of the best players they ever had

2016 it was only harrison barnes who didn't get minutes every game
2012 a rookie anthony davis played 7/8 games - everyone else played 8/8
2008 - everyone played every game
2004 - only a rookie emeka okafor didn't play every game
2000 - only alonzo played 6/8 and that was due to the kidney stuff

like I said no one of tatum stature has ever been screwed like this

It's a bad move. Part of being a savy coach is keeping everyone engaged, especially a player as important going forward as Tatum. It's a good thing he admitted it himself, i'm sure he was bit surprised at the uproar following the game. I'm shocked that Spoelstra and the other assistants didn't call him to order.

Tatum's too much of a pushover for his own good, needs to assert himself a little more as far as i'm concerned.
