He was just not good
He just can’t shoot anymore and it’s the weirdest shyt man.
He was just not good
KD already on it
Which is why Tyus Jones was critical for PhoenixThe chemistry between those two isn't the problem, it’s the makeup of that roster.
Didn't watch the award ceremonies, but I heard Serbia was straight blitzed during the medal presentation.
Them cats been getting drunk, singing and smoking the whole Olympics. Heard they were lit every time in Olympic Village
damn he struggled in the playoffs as well
what's up with dude?
the postseason performance i chalk up to the defense prioritizing him heavily(all that struggling & he still lead them across the board)There's nothing inherently wrong with what he posted.
Jrue was definitively better than Tatum in the Olympics, and he rose to the occasion more than Tatum did in the Finals too (albeit he has a less important role and deals with less defensive attention). Tatum's jumpshot abandoned him pretty much all postseason, and as we saw in the Olympics he couldn't find it. Funny thing is, his 2024 postseason was pretty much his most inefficient one of his career and the Celtics still went on to win the 'ship, so it is quite strange in that respect that hadn't really improved from the year before.
He should be hitting his peak, but we've seen anything but that, which is only emphasized by his poor performance in the Olympics.
He probably just needs to deprogramme himself from all things hoops for a while. He's played more basketball than pretty much everyone over the last 2-3 years.

Lebron was a de facto PG on the court and setting up people with some insane passes. Did you really compare what Tatum does to that? Tatum has shown improved playmaking when a team doubles him but not the ability to just straight up QB an entire offense when that doesn't happen.the postseason performance i chalk up to the defense prioritizing him heavily(all that struggling & he still lead them across the board)
he showed he knows how to draw that attention & instead of chucking through it he feeds his squad contributing in a holistic sense
jt role is the role bron was playing in the olympics he wasn't gonna get in & get in rhythm
he has shown up to this point he can play through the chatter from outside
he's not the gun-slinging chucker prototype most people celebrate
watching him in the finals i saw he has that eye where you can see him holding back trailing a little watching & you can see his brain turning
he's not out there tunnel vision just dropping shells
but people don't rate that they call it passive soft etcetera etcetera etcetera unless it's nikola then they call it genius HA
