Brown isn't needed. America has more than enough guards.

Next generation of development has to focus on feeding these kids so we can have our own Giannis Embiid Joker

I haven't seen one workout video of Hanlen or Brickley showing these kids how to post up. Trying to turn everyone into KD is annoying.

They're both bum grifters who don't deserve to be anywhere near hoops.

Make players worse and cap out their potential by making them shyt jack-of-all-trades.

Put it this way, I care about the opinions of my parents about money but if they ain’t rich then I don’t put much value into said opinion.

Fans opinions don’t bring value to how good KD is at basketball. Don’t confuse caring for value.
Fans opinions have value this is just false

Y’all idolize this man KD talkin like this

I get what you're saying, but there was also a lot of shytty teams in the 80's & 90's so it wasn't all seller defensive lock down defense on a nightly basis back then. Plus the FIBA courts are smaller with less room to operate and the center can stay parked in the paint without worry about a three second call. A lot of the stars of today would've cooked in the 90's once they got used to the hand checking and physicality imo. Even with a more physical game you still have a bigger court, a three second call in the paint, farther 3 point line, and no goal tending.

Appreciate your post.

I have to disagree with it though. Salute.

this is no longer a situation where the USA can win by 20+ every night just by showing up. There are going to be plenty of close games on the world stage for Team USA moving forward, and potentially there will be some losses (they didnt even medal at the World Championship last year when they sent a lesser team). These international teams have talent and usually more continuity in their programs. The whole Uber driver thing is silly - you might not respect the leagues they play in, but these are professional basketball players

the USA squad showed great resolve yesterday and turned it on when it mattered most - that should be story, not some narrative that they barely beat some Uber drivers

Exactly, it’s been like this for a long time.

People act like it’s still the 90s. The rest of the world has closed the gap, so the games are more competitive. USA almost lost in the 00’ semifinals to Lithuania. Every Olympics from 00’ on has had close games, or even losses by the USA.
