I brought this up in the Noah Lyles thread when the dude took shots at USA basketball last year after they lost to Germany. It reignited the hatred the US has for a group of black American men leading the country to Gold. They get enough of that from the FOX News contingent, it's like cool I know you want attention but know your audience. It's why that comeback was so special, against all odds, even from some people in this country who root against them.Jokic is right there with Jimmy Butler as my favorite player in the league right now. But I gotta support KD 100%. The way people root blindly and passionately for all USA Olympic athletes but always find a rationalization to root against USA Hoops is disgusting.

It would have been but at the same time Serbia is comprised of Joker, Bogi and a bunch of Euro players who nobody ever heard of... does he not deserve some credit for what he's done with them?

It’s already confirmed that he only signed up for 2023 World Cup & 2024 Olympics, so its doubtful he will be there in 2028. I would imagine Spo is the favorite to be the next coach

Good. It looked like Spo was the one doing the coaching in the second half anyway. I saw him drawing up plays and Kerr standing around befuddled.
It should be Spo as head coach, bring in Psycho Joe as an assistant and then make sure Tatum and Brown are integral parts.
