I havent watched it and i never will.....
As soon as i started reading about things being embellished and artistic license I just remembered watching the Straight Out Of Compton shyt.
Sat in the cinema with my GF watching Dre talking down to Suge.....like he was going to test Suge....

wutang is very transparent if you just sit back and look at how they moved. Its crazy that it went over so many people's heads... they did like 3-4 things to make it foolproof ... then Rza let them wild out until they realized what he actually built
but they set like 4 plans to make sure shyt worked no matter what in the beginning. Wutang was like 4 layers ontop of eachother and everyone sacrificed to make 1 thing pop off so everyone could eat afterward.
It even took members in the group years to realize that ... even beyond wutang alot of fans dont want to realize or admit that once you do make it... people will do anything to strike iron as strong as possible too
rules and everything go out the window when you have to capitalize asap.
wutang is like when someone has to shoot free throws in basketball... but they made it where 9 dudes get to shoot too, just in case. They used all resources between them to stack the deck and make sure they broke through
wrapped it in cult following type of package. Signed artist under them to expand and made it international too to spread the word. So even if 8 dudes came trash somehow, that 1 dude would still carry the name and elevate them. Rza is a genius the shyt operates like a gang, you meet kids in Slovenia like "we are in Wutang!"
Rza and Gza are the only ones from the beginning that knew what they were actually building. All the other dudes at one point said "fukk splitting this money, I'm getting a bag" but ended up coming right back and apologizing. You can never be bigger than something you are only 1/9th of... the more you build yourself, you're just building the brand bigger and bigger too. Not even mentioning the internal competition and elevation... Rza is a genius

RZA is 100% a genius.
He nurtured a lot of talent and got a lot of people out of shyt situations.
He marketed Ason perfectly....which is fine when you are a rapper in your 20's.....but when you get a bit older and look in the mirror and your name is O'l Dirty b*stard........
