Ultimately, these kids want a chance to play in the league. I have family members who play college football that clearly feel like all their coaches are probably MAGA. They just want a chance to go pro and block them out outside of football. I don’t really think it’s the Obama era rose colored glasses. They grew up with millennials relatives who have been protesting since Trayvon Martin. They’ve seen it all. They walked out of high school a bunch of times in solidarity and largely back Kapernick. The school has the power to make you or break you. If this kid tried to transfer they could hold it up and string it along before releasing him. They can also say which conferences he can transfer to.

If the kid stays the coaching staff can bad mouth him when NFL scouts contact the coaching staff. We all know how the league loves to fukk draft picks out of money by letting schools bad mouth them so they can slide in the draft.

If folks really care then hit up Oklahoma state and the big 12 and tell them how you feel. Black students can demand the coach gets fired or they transferring. Black parents can call up the president and say I ain't sending my kid to the school in the fall and black high school kids (sports and academic) can say they taking Oklahoma State off their list of schools.

well they ARE getting millions while these players play for essentially free . mostly blacc players mostly white coaches and dignitaries . I'd love it if both ncaa and nfl players used their power more , even if it meant not playing
