If the world is right and just, then this would result somehow in Drummond miraculously dropping to the Pistons.
Maybe there is a God and Mikey v can see the future

thats where he's projected to go at this point. apparently he's been really ehh. i think that will turn things around for them. drop Greg to the 4. i will actually watch them next season.
unlikely he falls that far.
he's not going ahead of Robinson, Beale, MKG. so 5 at the earliest maybe?
4 at the earliest, and I just can't see Portland passing him up at 6. Drummond will either be a Cav or Trail Blazer. If there's even word that he might slip, someone will make a deal with Golden State (and that might even be Cleveland)
I feel you but tanking has been the norm around here..
You have to move forward..It was a deal to help all of our young pieces in the long term. We have solid vets backed by young kids. This is the team we shouldve tried to create years ago.
"Not only did New Orleans manager to shed the hefty contracts of Trevor Ariza and Emeka Okafor (which adds up to close to $44 million over the next two seasons if you consider Ariza's player option in 2013-14), they also are only on the hook with newly acquired forward Rashard Lewis for $13.95 million if they buy him out before July 1.
If we did our math right, that means the Hornets could save roughly $30 million by making this deal, effectively starting over as they build around Anthony Davis, the clear-cut top choice in next week's draft.
Cutting Lewis will free up the Hornets to bring back Eric Gordon, and could also potentially make them a bigger player for the biggest free agent of the summer, Deron Williams. Can you imagine a Williams, Gordon, Davis nucleus that seemingly came out of nowhere? Yes, it remains a longshot, but crazier things have happened.
Remember, too, that New Orleans managed to hang on to the No. 10 pick and could go in a variety of directions with that pick, from point guard to swingman to center."

you're right, the problem is the group that this would have benefit the most are now gone.
The reason why this trade sucks is that we could have just kept Rashard and buy him out. He was an expiring contract and we just gave it up. I dont think Okafor and Ariza are going to improve us (and its not like they are coming from a good team either, the Hornets were just as bad as we were.)
Im sorry, but I cant be positive about this at all and its mostly because there is no plan.
I said that the Wizards would suck from the day they gave up the homie C Webb for Mitch Richmond and almost 20 years later I have been correct
turrible organization.
