It's insane the Wiz took on two bad contracts and couldn't get the Hornets to throw in the 10th pick in this deal. I could stomach getting another good young piece, but not just two role players who won't even be here in two years for the cap relief the Hornets got in Lewis.

I've been a Bullets/Wizards fan all my life but I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.
this pain and suffering will lead to... to... to...

man, idk even know anymore. This shyt feels so similar to the moves they made to save the Caron/Gil/Jamison team. I just dont know.

Lets just see how this all plays out, but as a Wizard fan I never have much hope.

Hornets Should Sign Deron and Re-sign Gordon :ehh:

Deron Williams? this isnt JBO breh, go there.

yeah, if we had gotten #10 to take these contracts, I'd have been happy... we'd get two solid young pieces to come in and help right now on the wings

All I know is, Wall needs to become a star and QUICKLY. We talk about him potentially leaving but that kid needs to step up with a relatively better team... he now has big men who can actually set a screen

HoopsHype - NBA Salaries - Washington Wizards

You are a fool if think the Wizards didnt make a great move..

Ariza and Okafor will have expiring contracts after next season...

We can flip those two into something nice..

Like I said, whats the point of having excess cap space RIGHT NOW if we still have that losing culture..Hopefully all the level headed vets we have now will turn this team around...

for what? Whats the end game here? This is what frustrates me as a Wizards fan because there never seems to be an end game with this organization.

I dont know what they are striving torwards.

The "end game" was sending McGee and Young packing..

We are now in a position to actually compete and push forward. What more do you want?

Another year of kids under 25 strugling to compete and blowing big leads in the 3rd quarter?

If you are true Wiz then you would see that they are no longer contempt on striving for a lotto pick..

They trust Wall and they are building around him...

I dont like this trade because of Okafor, as well as how good Seraphin played after the trades happened last season, but the Wizards are trying to make the playoffs.

I really want Drummond but whats done is done.

you do, hence why you in this thread.

from what i read. it sounds like Drummond wasnt going that high anyway. he could be a good pick for Detroit and they could go ahead and put big Greg at his natural position.

sounds like the Wizards might have there eye on Beale.

are we? I just hope they can make the playoffs the next two years but im skeptical. Following this team for 20+ years has made me that way.
