The Wiz took on 2 expiring contracts and a good defensive player in Okafor, they won't be a playoff team, but this will be a good long term trade. It will clear lots of cap space for 2013-2014 season.
the 2014 FA class is good tho
i still dont understand why the hornets dont just trade earl gorden(after they match his contract),
i mean shyt dude dont want to be here, him and kaman for a soild young player(kemba and diop another 1st or 2nd pick)and a vet or 2. gorden not that good anyway to give anywhere close to a max deal, fukk outta here wit that shyt
Because if that's all it took to get you to leave a bad situation nobody worth their salt would play there. What's he gonna do? Mail it in for the next 4 years?
Kaman's a free agent so your trade is DOA. And then what if Gordon doesn't wanna go to Charlotte? Should the Bobcats trade him too?
damn i aint knw bout kaman, but i dont really care wit charlotte does, gorden is not that good of a player in this league to give him that type of money, when he isnt going to play hard for u, look at baron davis, dude last 2 season wit the hornets he didnt play hard at all, he faked injuries and didnt give a fukk, and started balling soon as he got traded
but if not to charlotte trade him somewhere where he wants to go, like the pacers and get some soild players in return that can help your team out, dude just played 8 games last year and got payed for nothin, how long do u hurt your own team to prove a point, fukk that faggit, get him outta here
I happen to agree with you. Gordon's not worth a max deal. However, Gordon's a really good player at a really thin position. That will inflate his value. That said, I don't think Gordon faked or milked his injuries. He's an injury prone player. It's hard for him to stay healthy if he tried.
real talk i doubt anybody offer dude a max contract, where the hornets would have to match it, i aint gon lie i would be mad if we would have to match a max for him, like u said dude is injury prone, he is a small 2 guard will get expose on D and he just not good enough, givin him a max deal would be way worst than joe johnson and amare
